The LA Bowl will feature the Fresno State Bulldogs hitting the field against the Washington State Cougars on Saturday, December 17, 2022.
The Bulldogs defeated the Boise State Broncos 28-16 in their last outing. Last time out, the Cougars fell to the Washington Huskies 51-33. Jake Haener had 184 yards on 17-of-27 passing (63.0%) for the Bulldogs in that matchup against the Broncos, with one touchdown and no interceptions. Jordan Mims totaled 83 rushing yards on 25 carries (3.3 yards per carry), scoring two touchdowns on the ground. He also had three catches for five yards. Nikko Remigio totaled five receptions for 68 yards (averaging 13.6 per catch) against the Broncos. Cameron Ward totaled 322 passing yards while going 33-for-52 with two touchdowns and no interceptions for the Cougs against the Huskies. He added 16 carries for -5 yards and one touchdown. Nakia Watson put together a 15-carry, 73-yard game (4.9 yards per attempt) with one touchdown, while also adding seven receptions for 41 yards and one touchdown. Robert Ferrell caught four passes on seven targets for 71 yards (17.8 yards per reception), and scored one touchdown.
