Ravens brought back Hundley in light of Jackson knee injury

Lamar Jackson seems to wind up on the injury report in some fashion every week, but the knee injury that he suffered in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos was enough for the Baltimore Ravens to sign an insurance policy. Baltimore brought back QB Brett Hundley, who was in training camp with the team back in the summer, to add some depth with the expectation that Jackson could miss at least one week.

With Jackson presumed out this week and Tyler Huntley as the starting quarterback, we’ve seen this line swing from Ravens -4.5 on the lookahead to Steelers -2 as betting action gets underway in earnest for Week 14. Huntley was 27-of-32 for 187 yards and 10 carries for 41 yards in the 10-9 win over the Broncos.

It was Huntley who led a 16-play, 91-yard touchdown drive for the game-winning score on a two-yard plunge into the end zone to propel the Ravens to 8-4. They share the lead in the AFC North with the Cincinnati Bengals, but have the top spot from a head-to-head win back in Week 9.

He’s also rushed for 764 on 112 carries for a 6.8 yards per carry average, which is the highest for him since his MVP-winning season.
