Horned Frogs loss in Big 12 Championship Game left doubt

The College Football Playoff Committee has spoken and we will see Ohio State vs. Georgia in the Peach Bowl and TCU vs. Michigan in the Fiesta Bowl. The top four was announced during Sunday’s live selection show and may have seemed obvious to some, but TCU lost in overtime to Kansas State in the Big 12 Championship Game to add a little bit of doubt to the selection process.

With a big brand like the Alabama Crimson Tide lurking, leaving the Horned Frogs out for the sake of the almighty dollar was on the table, but TCU’s resume was too strong and Alabama’s loss to LSU left Nick Saban’s team at home.

  • Ohio State +340
  • TCU +1600
