Portland Trail Blazers (11-11) vs. Utah Jazz (13-11)
The Portland Trail Blazers head to Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Saturday night to face off against the Utah Jazz, as these two Northwest Division foes continue their four-game regular-season series with Game 2.
Back on November 19, the Jazz beat the Trail Blazers 118-113 as 4.5-point road underdogs. Utah opens as a 3.5-point home fave for Saturday’s battle, and the totals are listed at 225.5 points.
The Portland Trail Blazers (11-11; 13-9 ATS) extended their losing streak to three games this past Wednesday. They suffered a heavy 128-109 defeat as 6-point road dogs at the Los Angeles Lakers. After a tight battle in the first half, the Lakers outscored the Trail Blazers 62-47 in the second. Portland forced just eight turnovers and allowed 28 assists while shooting 46.7% from the field and 8-for-24 from beyond the arc.
“It's a tall order to come in here on a back-to-back, off a very deflating loss,” Portland head coach Chauncey Billups said. “This is a challenge. But the guys fought, and they played hard. They just ran out of gas.”

Anfernee Simmons went off for 37 points in a 118-112 home loss to the LA Clippers last Tuesday. He had 22 points and eight assists against the Lakers, while Jerami Grant dropped 27 points on Purple-and-Gold. These two guys have led the Blazers in Damian Lillard’s absence.
Lillard suffered a calf injury in that five-point loss to the Jazz in November. Since then, the Trail Blazers have gone 1-5 SU and 2-4 ATS, scoring 109.5 points per contest and surrendering 119.8 in a return. Reportedly, Lillard is targeting Sunday’s clash against the Indiana Pacers to return.
