Best NHL player prop bets for Friday, 12/2

After a nice 3-0 night on our player props, lets continue to take care of business. Friday features just 3 NHL games, but that doesn't mean we can't make it a profitable night. After 11 games last night and 13 coming up tomorrow, let's be smart with our bankroll and not force unnecessary plays with so much action coming up. Therefore, we've got just 1 player prop for tonight's slate, but it is an ideal spot. We've been on a great stretch with our props as of late, so let's dive into tonight's target.

Along with our top player prop, be sure to check out all of our NHL picks for today's action.

Josh Morrissey over 0.5 assists (-140)

The debate for this play was between Morrissey and teammate Blake Wheeler. With the way the Jets have fluctuated their lines recently, we're going to stick with the defenseman. He's virtually always on the ice with all of the top goal-scorers, including Kyle Connor and Pierre Luc-Dubois. It also doesn't hurt that he just came through for us just 5 days ago on this 2-0 night. It makes sense that his overall point prop is much more expensive now given the matchup. Morrissey and the Jets are taking on the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight, and on home ice no less.'

The last time Winnipeg took the ice, they smashed the defending Stanley Cup-champion Colorado Avalanche 5-0. They've been off since that Monday game, and the Jackets are nowhere near that caliber. In fact, they're the worst team in the Eastern Conference and are allowing 4.5 goals per game, the most in the NHL. Morrissey is having a career year, and leads the team with 25 points through 21 games. It's worth swapping to his assist prop this time around as 20 of those 25 points are helpers. He had 3 assists when we targeted him on Sunday, and he's gone pointless just 4 games all season, so let's ride the consistency of Morrissey tonight.
