It improved their record to 11-8 on the season and they are now tied with New Orleans atop the Southwest division. They are tied for third in the Western Conference. Memphis shot nearly 52% and held the Pelicans to 43% shooting from the floor. Memphis also drained 18 threes at a 47% clip.

Dillon Brooks stepped up with 25 points with 4 three pointers while Ja Morant added 23 points and 11 assists. Jaren Jackson added 20 points while Steven Adams chipped in with 15 points and 10 boards. Brandon Clarke had a nice game off the bench with 12 points and 10 boards. The Grizzlies average 115.1 points per game, which ranks 18th in the league. They are second in rebounds.
