The Hurrricanes are averaging 2.7 goals per game while their defense is giving up 2.8 goals per game. The offense hasn’t been good enough for this team, but the defense has been good and is ranked 10th in the NHL. Center Martin Necas has been the top player for Carolina scoring nine goals and adding 14 assists.
