The 2022-23 NHL betting action continues Friday with this Western Conference battle when the Winnipeg Jets travel to take on the Dallas Stars at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
Winnipeg is in the second of a three-game road trip that saw the team lose in Minnesota on Wednesday night, 6-1. Dallas will be finishing up a four-game homestand on Friday. They are 2-0-1 through the first three games, including a 6-4 victory over Chicago on Wednesday. These clubs have already met twice this season, with the home team winning both games.
The Winnipeg Jets (11-6-1, 10-8 ATS) gave up two goals in the second and three in the third as they were shredded by the Minnesota Wild, 6-1. Kyle Connor had the lone goal in the contest, his sixth of the year. The loss moved Winnipeg to 4-4-1 on the road this season. The Jets gave up two power-play goals in the contest which is surprising, as they have the fifth-best penalty-killing unit in the NHL (83.0%).

Connor Hellebuyck has been having an outstanding season, but he struggled in this contest, giving up six goals on 39 shots. The Jets netminder is 8-5-1 with a 2.35 GAA any .928 save percentage, helping Winnipeg to the fifth-best goals-against average in the NHL (2.61). However, offensive production has been down, as they are 25th overall goals per game (2.83).
