St. Louis Blues at Tampa Bay Lightning – 11/25/22 NHL Picks and Prediction

The St. Louis Blues and Tampa Bay Lightning face off on Friday in an NHL showdown at Amalie Arena. When these two teams faced off last December it was the Lightning that were able to secure the 4-2 victory.

The Blues come into this game with a 10-9-0 record and they have gone 5-5-0 away from home. The Blues have been playing better as of late, but they are coming off a loss in the last game. The Blues defense gave up six goals to the Buffalo Sabres, and that led to the four-goal defeat. St. Louis had won seven games in a row before losing on Wednesday. The Blues are averaging 2.84 goals per game while their defense is giving up 3.42 goals per game. Brayden Schenn has scored six goals and added 11 assists.

On the other side of this matchup is Tampa Bay who sits with an 11-7-1 record and they have gone 6-3-1 at home. The Lightning’s last game came against the Bruins and the defense really struggled in that game. Two games ago against the Nashville Predators, the Lightning were able to secure the 3-2 victory. The Lightning are averaging 3.37 goals per game while their defense is giving up 3.16 goals per game. The offense is ranked 11th in the league. Nikita Kucherov has scored 10 goals and added 18 assists.
