Denver Nuggets (11-7) vs. Los Angeles Clippers (11-8)

The 2022-23 NBA season goes on Friday, November 25, with 14 games around the Association, so we are breaking down the Western Conference showdown from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, to get you the best Nuggets vs. Clippers betting pick and odds.

Denver meets LA for the first time this season, and the Nuggets open as slight 2-point favorites. The visitors might miss Bones Hyland (non-COVID illness), while the Clippers listed Paul George (hamstring) and Kawhi Leonard (ankle) as questionable to play.

After a disappointing 110-108 home defeat to the lowly Detroit Pistons this past Tuesday, the Denver Nuggets (11-8; 9-10 ATS) outlasted the Oklahoma City Thunder 131-126 in overtime on the second night of a back-to-back set. Playing as slight 1-point road underdogs, the Nuggets rallied from a 15-point fourth-quarter deficit, and Nikola Jokic led the way with 39 points, ten rebounds, and nine assists. Aaron Gordon had 31 points and eight boards, while Bruce Brown notched a triple-double of 17 points, 13 rebounds, and ten assists.

“He’s a winner. Those are the guys you want on your team. Some guys are in the foxhole with you, some guys have one foot out, one foot in. Bruce is all the way in,” Nuggets coach Mike Malone said. “He’s a guy t hat leaves his heart out there every night. And 17, 13 and 10 with four steals. That’s a pretty impressive stat line in 45 minutes of play.”

The Nuggets shot 47.7% from the field and 36.8% from downtown (14-for-38) against OKC. They handed out 31 assists and committed 19 turnovers. Last Tuesday, the Nuggets went just 8-for-28 from deep versus the Pistons while surrendering a whopping 70 points in the paint. Denver is yielding 114.7 points per 100 possessions (27th in the NBA) on 48.7% shooting from the field (28th), and the Nuggets need to improve their defense a lot in the future days.
