The Troy Trojans will head to Centennial-Bank Stadium on Saturday afternoon to take on the Arkansas State Red Wolves in a Sun Belt Conference matchup. The Trojans are 9-2 (6-1) so far and are riding an eight-game winning streak after coming off a 34-16 home victory over the UL Monroe Warhawks last Saturday. The Red Wolves are 3-8 (1-6) up to this point and are coming off a 16-13 road loss against the T exas State Bobcats last Saturday.

The Troy Trojans were able to dominate the UL Monroe Warhawks 34-16 last week. The Trojans had an amazing start as they were up 20-3 at halftime. They need to pass the ball a lot better as they averaged 3.4 passing yards per attempt throughout the game as junior quarterback Gunnar Watson struggled going 10-of-17 for 78 yards. Defensively, they allowed 16 but allowed 7-of-13 on third down attempts and 0-of-2 on fourth down for the Warhawks here.

The Troy Trojans need to be better at scoring the football as they are averaging 22.5 points on 367.7 total yards per game. They are not running the football well, so it will be depending on the passing game that junior quarterback Gunnar Watson does as he is completing 61.4 percent of his passes for 2,243 yards with nine touchdowns and nine interceptions. Their defense has been doing extremely well as they have 16 total takeaways (eight interceptions, eight fumble recoveries) to help win games throughout the season.
