Los Angeles Clippers (11-7) vs. Golden State Warriors (8-10)
The Los Angeles Clippers head to Chase Center in San Francisco on Wednesday night to start their four-game Pacific Division series against the Golden State Warriors. The Clippers have dropped four of their last six games against the Warriors and are winless in three straight road tilts versus the Dubs.
Los Angeles cannot count on Luke Kennard (calf), while Paul George (hamstring) is questionable to play. Golden State misses Andre Iguodala (hip).
The Los Angeles Clippers (11-7; 9-9 ATS) wrapped up a three-game homestand with a 121-114 victory over the Utah Jazz last Monday. It was their third victory on the spin and sixth in eight games. After suffering an injury in a 119-97 thrashing of the San Antonio Spurs last Saturday, Paul George sat out the Jazz game, so Norman Powell came through with a 30-point performance against Utah.
Powell went 10-for-15 from the field and 7-for-7 from the charity stripe in 28 minutes off the bench last Monday. Reggie Jackson had 27 points on 10-for-20 shooting from the field, while Ivica Zubac posted a 14-point, 14-rebound double-double. The Clippers made 51.6% of their field goals and outscored Utah 60-52 in the paint while tallying a thumping 22 fast-break points.
“I give the team credit. No matter who’s on the floor, we always feel like we have a chance to win,” coach Tyronn Lue said. “It’s tough some nights and it’s not pretty every night, but we always seem to try to find a way to get it done. Different guys are stepping up every single night. I thought at the end of the game, Norman and Reggie really brought this home offensively.”

Kawhi Leonard (knee) spent 23 minutes on the court against Utah, finishing the game with eight points and five assists. He’ll be on limited minutes for a while, so the Clippers need the rest of their roster to pick up the slack. LA holds the second-lowest offensive rating in the NBA (108.0 points per 100 possessions), making just 22.8 assists per 100 possessions (26th) along with 16.5 turnovers (also 26th). The Clippers rely on their stout D and surrender only 107.7 points per 100 possessions (2nd) on 44.3% shooting from the field (1st).
