The CSU Northridge Matadors and the Central Michigan Chippewas will face off at the So Cal Challenge in San Juan this Wednesday evening.
CSU Northridge is 1-3 after a loss to Tennessee State on Monday night. The Matadors competed in another closely contested bout against the Tigers in Round 1, and dropped their third straight game, 74-73. CSUN is scoring 70.3 points per game, while shooting 43.2% from the field, and 29.9% from deep.
Dionte Bostick is thriving in a lead role after coming over from Murray State. The 6’2 guard went for a career-high 31 points in the lost to Utah Tech, and he nearly led CSUN to a Round 1 victory with 24 points last time out. Bostick leads team in scoring (17.8), while his running mate Atin Wright is averaging 12.5 ppg. Fifth-year senior Onyi Eyisi mans the middle, and leads the Matadors in rebounding (8.3).
