Chicago Bulls vs. Milwaukee Bucks Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-23-2022

Chicago Bulls (7-10) vs. Milwaukee Bucks (12-4)

The Chicago Bulls start a six-game road trip Wednesday, November 23, 2022, when they face off against the Milwaukee Bucks at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. These two Central Division foes meet for the first time in 2022-23, and the Bucks open as 7-point favorites with a total of 218.5 points.

We’ll see a rematch of the 2022 Eastern Conference first-round playoffs when Milwaukee beat Chicago in five games. The Bucks cannot count on Joe Ingles (knee) and Khris Middleton (wrist) for Wednesday’s clash, while the Bulls are missing Lonzo Ball (knee).

The Chicago Bulls (7-10; 8-8-1 ATS) defeated the red-hot Boston Celtics 121-107 as 5.5-point underdogs this past Monday to close down a two-game homestand on a high note. The Bulls put an end to their four-game losing streak and snapped the Celtics’ nine-game winning streak. Six players scored in double digits including Zach LaVine, who finished with 22 points (5-for-10 from deep) and five assists on the night.

“Big time,” LaVine said. “We've lost a lot in a row and they've won a lot in a row. I think we're a really good team, but we go through little lapses or times where we play bad. That's how fast the game can change.”

Last Friday, the Bulls suffered a tough 108-107 loss at the lowly Orlando Magic. LaVine went 1-for-14 from the field and 2-for-2 from the free-throw line and got benched for the final 3:43. The Bulls shot 46.1% from the field and 23.8% from downtown against Orlando. Three days later, Chicago made 51.7% of its field goals and 48.3% of its triples (14-for-29) against the NBA-leading Celtics.

DeMar DeRozan is making 51.1% of his field goals in November. He dropped 41 points on Orlando last Friday and had 28 against the Celtics on Monday. A few weeks ago, DeRozan notched 46 points (20-22 FT) in a 123-119 loss at Boston. The Bulls are scoring 111.1 points per 100 possessions (20th in the NBA) on 47.1% shooting from the field (tied-11th) and 36.1% from downtown (13th) while handing out 24.5 assists (tied-15th) and committing 15.2 turnovers (19th).
