The Sabres are having a rough season despite their offense stepping up and scoring 3.44 goals per game. Tage Thompson, Alex Tuch, and Jeff Skinner have scored 26 goals and 26 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has also been great. The offense has looked great but the defense has let the Sabres down, allowing 3.67 goals per game with 14 goals allowed in the last three games. While Dahlin and Power have combined for 2.2 defensive point shares and 57 blocked shots, the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net at will.
