The Iowa Hawkeyes (7-4) and the Nebraska Cornhuskers (3-8) square off on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Kinnick Stadium in a clash of Big Ten opponents.

The Hawkeyes head into the matchup after winning 13-10 over the Minnesota Golden Gophers in their last game on November 19. Their last time out, the Cornhuskers were beaten by the Wisconsin Badgers 15-14. Against the Golden Gophers, Spencer Petras led the Hawkeyes with 221 yards on 15-of-24 passing (62.5%) for no touchdowns and no interceptions. He also carried the ball five times for -14 yards and one rushing touchdown. Kaleb Johnson totaled 43 rushing yards on eight carries (5.4 yards per carry). Sam LaPorta led the receiving charge against the Golden Gophers, catching four passes for 95 yards. Casey Thompson threw for 106 yards for the Huskers against the Badgers, going 12-for-20 (60.0%) with two touchdowns and no interceptions. He added 11 carries for 33 yards. In that matchup, Anthony Grant had a 16-carry, 29-yard game (1.8 yards per attempt). Trey Palmer caught four passes on six targets for 47 yards (11.8 yards per reception), and scored two touchdowns.

The Hawkeyes are favorites by double-digits (10.5 points) over the Cornhuskers. The total is set at 37.5 points.
