Charlotte Hornets vs. Washington Wizards Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-20-2022

NFL Round Table Show

The struggling Charlotte Hornets head to Washington Sunday to face their division rivals, the Wizards. The Hornets are 4-13 on the season, 6 games behind the first place Hawks in the Southeast Division. The Wizards are 9-7, just a half game behind the Hawks in the division. The Wizards beat the Hornets 108-100 on Nov. 7 in Charlotte as a 2 point underdog on Nov. 7. The win snapped a four game losing streak against Charlotte.

The Charlotte Hornets have not been off to a great start this season. They are 4-13 thus far and have been beset by injuries as their best players, LaMelo Ball and Gordon Hayward, have been in and out of the lineup with injuries. Ball came back for a couple of games, but then he was out in their last game, a 132-122 loss at Cleveland, with an ankle injury. He is listed as questionable for this game against the Wizards.

Gordon Hayward is back in the lineup for Charlotte and he was decent against Cleveland with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. But Kelly Oubre was the star of the game, as Oubre dropped 34 points with 5 three pointers. PJ Washington also had a nice game with 28 points and 10 boards while Terry Rozier also had 28 points. Nick Richards kicked in 13 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. The Hornets rank 22nd in points per game and 24th in points allowed.
