Minnesota will be looking to extend its two-game winning streak when it travels to Philadelphia on Saturday night. The Timberwolves have a chance to get back to the .500 mark for the first time in two weeks after going through a short losing stretch. Philadelphia is coming off an impressive win over Milwaukee on Friday night.

Minnesota got off to a strong start this season, winning four of its first six games. The Timberwolves proceeded to lose six of their next seven games, with the lone win coming against Houston two weeks ago. They have bounced back with a pair of road wins earlier this week, beating Cleveland and Orlando. Minnesota was a 1-point underdog in its 129-124 win against Cleveland, and it was an 8-point favorite in its 126-108 blowout win over Orlando. The Timberwolves are now wrapping up their four-game road trip before they return home for a game against Miami on Monday.

Guard Anthony Edwards scored 35 points in the win over the Magic, as Minnesota built a 27-point lead in the first half and never looked back. Karl-Anthony Towns added 30 points, so it was a season high for both players. Center Rudy Gobert has made a huge impact since being acquired from Utah in the offseason, as he leads the NBA in rebounds per game so far this season. He had 16 points and eight boards in the win at Orlando, helping his team win consecutive road games for this first time this year. The Timberwolves have been an excellent offensive team, ranked ninth in the NBA in scoring (115.1). They are facing a Philadelphia defense that is No. 4, allowing 106.5 points per game.
