Best NHL player prop bet for today 11/18

NHL schedule-makers have loved giving us drastically different slates this season. After 13 games last night, we have just 1 matchup tonight. It's a Pacific Division battle between the Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks. LA was the 2nd team in the Western Conference to reach double-digit wins, while Vancouver is in jeopardy on their 10th loss tonight. However, we can still have action in the game without worrying about the outcome. We've targeted our favorite player prop for tonight's game to boost your bankroll heading into tomorrow's whopping 15 games. Along with our player prop, be sure to check out all of our NHL analysis for the upcoming action.

J.T. Miller over 0.5 assists (-115)

The Kings and Canucks were 2 of the better defensive teams in the NHL last season. However, that has not proven to be the case so far this season. That means we have opportunities to target skaters to shine, one of which is Canucks J.T. Miller. He was extremely profitable last season, which should come as no surprise. Vancouver's left winger had 99 points last season, 67 of which were assists. That was the 7th and 6th-most in their respective categories. He has another 16 points in 17 games so far this season, and has a great matchup to increase that number.'

Not only have the Kings allowed the 10th-most goals per game, they've allowed the 7th-most on the road. They just had a solid showing against the Edmonton Oilers, but they've proven inconsistent this season. Miller has also enjoyed facing his division rival throughout his career. In 16 games against LA, he has 17 points, 12 of which were assists. Better yet, he has recorded at least 1 assist against the Kings in each of his last 6 games against them. One of which was even a 3-assist game. It also helps that Miller is virtually always on the ice. In the Canucks most recent game, he skated for more than 25 minutes. With line mate Bo Horvat having recorded 3 points in that game, that's plenty of opportunities for Miller to add to his assist total tonight.
