The Milwaukee Bucks invade the Wells Fargo Center to take on the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.
The Milwaukee Bucks have been in great shape as they’ve won 11 of their first 14 games overall and they will be feeling pretty good after blowing past the Cavaliers in a 113-98 home win on Wednesday. Brook Lopez drained seven 3-pointers to lead the team with 29 points on 10 of 13 shooting, Jordan Nwora added 21 points off the bench while Giannis Antetokounmpo chipped in with 16 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. As a team, the Bucks shot 47 percent from the field and 16 of 39 from the 3-point line as they took a one-point lead into halftime, before dominating the third quarter by 34-18 to open a 20-point lead. Marjon Beauchamp had a rough night as he finished with just two points on one of eight shooting.
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been building nicely as they’ve won three of their past four games and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after sneaking past the Jazz in a 105-98 home win on Sunday. Joel Embiid led the team with 59 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and seven blocks on 19 of 28 shooting, Tyrese Maxey added 18 points, but no other player scored more than eight points. As a team, the 76ers shot 48 percent from the field and four of 23 from the 3-point line as they struggled to get going and trailed by 14 points in the first half, before turning to Embiid who delivered in the second half to earn his team the much-needed victory.
