The South Florida Bulls and Tulsa Golden Hurricane face off on Friday in a college football showdown at Chapman Stadium. When these two teams faced off in 2021 it was Tulsa that secured the 32-31 victory.
South Florida has really struggled this season and they have gone 1-9 straight up. They have also gone 3-7 against the spread. In the last game against SMU, the defense again struggled giving up 41 points, and that led to another loss where they couldn’t keep it close. Quarterback Katravis Marsh completed 12 of his 31 passes for 178 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Running back Brian Battle did have a strong game finishing with 26 carries for 145 yards. South Florida is averaging 25.5 points while their defense is giving up 40 points per game.
On the other side of this matchup is Tulsa who sits with a 3-7 record and they have gone 2-7-1 against the spread. Tulsa is really struggling heading into this game and they have lost three games in a row. In the last game against Memphis, the offense could only manage 10 points, and that led to the defeat. Braxton Barrett completed 12 of 24 passes for 128 yards and a touchdown. Keylon Stokes finished with six catches for 68 yards and a touchdown. Tulsa is averaging 28.2 points while their defense is giving up 32.5 points per game.
