Arizona and Vegas start their three-game regular-season series. The Golden Knights are listed as massive -380 moneyline favorites, while the totals sit at 6.5 goals.  

Thursday’s clash at T-Mobile Arena will be Arizona’s sixth straight outing on the road. After winning three in a row at Washington 3-2, Buffalo 4-1, and New York Islanders 2-0, the Coyotes have dropped two straight contests at New Jersey 4-2 and New York Rangers 4-1.

Karel Vejmelka is expected to guard the cage Thursday against Vegas. He’s 5-4-1 with a 3.16 GAA and .910 save percentage. The Coyotes rank 28th in the league in goals against (3.60 per game) and seventh in penalty killing (82.0%). 

On the other side of the puck, Arizona is scoring just 2.67 goals per contest (27th in the NHL) on an 11.1 shooting percentage (tied-6th). The Yotes are dead last in the NHL in expected goals for. Clayton Keller leads the way for Arizona with six goals and 11 assists, while Travis Boyd, Matias Maccel li, and Shayne Gostisbehere have accounted for ten points apiece.
