The Minnesota Wild and Nashville Predators face off on Tuesday in an NHL showdown at the Bridgestone Arena. Nashville has won three of the last four games against the Wild. 

The WIld sit with a 7-6-2 record overall and they have gone 5-2-1 away from home. In the last game against the San Jose Sharks the Wild gave up two goals in the 3rd period and they ended up losing in overtime. The Wild are averaging 2.73 goals per game while their defense is giving up 2.93 goals per game. After the defense struggled early in the season, they have played a whole lot better and it’s going to need the defense that is good here. Kirill Kaprizov has scored 10 goals and added seven assists. 

On the other side of this matchup is Nashville and they sit with a 6-8-1 record overall and they are coming off a win in the last game. The offense only scored two goals, but the defense was elite giving up only one goal, and that led to the victory. The Predators are averaging 2.6 goals while their defense is giving up 3.33 goals per game. The offense is ranked 30th in the league and they need to find a way to get the offense going here. Filip Forsberg has been the top offensive player scoring five goals and adding 10 assists.
