Wisconsin-Green Bay (Green Bay) vs. Wisconsin Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-15-2022

Green Bay is hoping to put together a much better performance on Tuesday night when it travels to Wisconsin to wrap up a three-game road trip. The Phoenix have been blown out by Indiana State and Georgetown in their first two games. Wisconsin has picked up wins over South Dakota and Stanford to open its campaign.

KenPom has Green Bay ranked No. 356 out of 363 Division I teams, and the Phoenix have looked every bit as bad as that ranking so far this season. They opened their campaign with an 80-53 loss to Indiana State, coming nowhere close to covering the 17.5-point spread. Their struggled continued on Saturday, as lost by 34 points as 17-point underdogs at Georgetown. They trailed by just two points at halftime, but the Hoyas were dominant in the second half, outscoring the Phoenix by 32 points over the final 20 minutes. This will be the final game of a three-game road trip before Green Bay returns home for a four-game homestand beginning on Friday.

The Phoenix are terrible on both ends of the court, ranked No. 351 in adjusted offensive efficiency and No. 357 defensively. Their strength on the offensive end has been their outside shooting, as they are knocking down 33.3% of their 3-point tries. They are going to be faced with a tough challenge on Tuesday, as Wisconsin’s defense leads the country in 3-point percentage (9.7). Junior guard Davin Ziegler leads Green Bay with 13.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. Sophomore guard Zae Blake is the only other player scoring in double figures, averaging 11.0 points off the bench. He is facing a Wisconsin defense that is No. 26 in overall defensive efficiency.
