The Miami of Ohio Redhawks dropped to 4-6 overall and 2-4 in the MAC this season following a 37-21 defeat to Ohio last week. The Redhawks defense was dominated in the loss, allowing 556 yards of total offense to Ohio including 362 through the air. Ohio scored on each of their final six possessions, had 27 first downs in the game and went 9-of-16 in the game on third down. The Redhawks defense also allowed 194 yards rushing in the game as well.

On the offensive side of thing, Miami (OH) quarterback Brett Gabbert threw for 244 yards and three touchdowns in the game, with all three touchdown throws going to wide receiver Mac Hippenhammer. The Redhawks had 313 yards of total offense, with just 69 yards on the ground. Miami (OH) had just 16 first downs in the game but were just 1-of-7 on third down and 0-for-2 on fourth down.
