The No. 21 Tulane Green Wave (8-2) meet a familiar opponent when they host the SMU Mustangs (6-4) on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Yulman Stadium in an AAC clash.

In their last game, the Green Wave lost 38-31 to the UCF Knights. Their last time out, the Mustangs won 41-23 over the South Florida Bulls. Michael Pratt had 236 yards on 23-of-39 passing (59.0%) for the Wave in that matchup against the Knights, with three touchdowns and no interceptions. He also added six carries for -4 yards and one rushing touchdown. Tyjae Spears rushed for 130 yards on eight carries (16.3 yards per carry), adding one reception for nine yards. Jha’Quan Jackson led the receiving charge against the Knights, catching five passes for 95 yards. Tanner Mordecai went 19-for-27 with 280 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions for the Mustangs against the Bulls. Tyler Lavine put together a 17-carry, 112-yard game (6.6 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. Jordan Kerley caught seven passes for 156 yards (22.3 yards per catch), scoring one touchdown.

The Mustangs are 3-point underdogs in their matchup against the Green Wave (the game has a total of 65 points).
