The Northern Illinois Huskies (3-7) square off against a familiar opponent when they host the Miami (OH) RedHawks (4-6) on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Brigham Field at Huskie Stadium in a MAC showdown.
The Huskies squared off against the Western Michigan Broncos in their last game, winning 24-21. The RedHawks are coming off of a loss to the Ohio Bobcats by the score of 37-21. Nevan Cremascoli had 133 yards on 8-of-17 passing (47.1%) for the Huskies in that matchup against the Broncos, with one touchdown and three interceptions. Jaiden Credle carried the ball 36 times for 136 yards (3.8 yards per carry) with one touchdown on the ground. Tristen Tewes had four receptions for 64 yards (16.0 per catch) against the Broncos. Brett Gabbert went 20-for-26 with 244 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions for the RedHawks against the Bobcats. Keyon Mozee put together a six-carry, 27-yard game (4.5 yards per attempt). Mac Hippenhammer had 107 yards through the air after eight catches (on 11 targets), with three touchdowns.
The RedHawks are small underdogs (+2.5) in their matchup against the Huskies (the game has a total of 48 points).
