Utah Tech at Washington – 11/14/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Utah Tech Trailblazers and Washington Huskies face off on Monday in a college basketball showdown at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion. 

Utah Tech comes into this game with a 1-1 record but the win did come in their last game. In the first game they lost to Nevada 84-71, but they bounced back in the last game beating Cal State Northridge 69-63. At halftime, Utah Tech was up 33-25 and they held on in the second half. Utah Tech was led by Cameron Gooden who finished with 17 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Frank Staine also finished in double digits with 10 points and six rebounds. Utah Tech has done a good job of getting to the line averaging 20.5 free throws a game. 

On the other side of this matchup is Washington who sits with a 2-0 record. Washington beat Weber State 69-52 in the first game, and in the last game, they beat North Florida 75-67. In the last game, Keyon Menifield finished with 21 points, three assists, and two rebounds. Frank Kepnag also had a strong game finishing with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Noah Williams and Keion Brooks Jr. both missed the last game because of injuries and it’s unclear if they are going to be able to go in this game. The Huskies are only shooting 43.09 percent from the field which is 233rd in college basketball.
