Holy Cross at Creighton – 11/14/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Holy Cross Crusaders and Creighton Bluejays face off on Monday in a non-conference college basketball showdown at the CenturyLink Center. This is the first meeting between the two teams in recent years.

Holy Cross comes into this game with a 1-1 record overall but the one win did come in their last game. The Crusaders opened up the season with a loss against Siena 75-68. In the last game, Holy Cross scored 85 points against Dean and that was enough to secure the 14-point victory. Will Batchelder had a nice game for Holy Cross finishing with 24 points, four rebounds, and one assist. Gerrale Gates finished with 18 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. There were four different players that scored at least 11 points. Holy Cross is shooting 40 percent from deep and they need to hit the three-pointers to stay in this game.

On the other side of this matchup is Creighton who sits with a 2-0 record but they have gone 1-1 against the spread. In the first game they knocked off St. Thomas 72-60 and in the last game against North Dakota the offense scored 96 points on the way to the victory. At halftime, Creighton was up 53-22. Ryan Kalkbrenner was the top player for Creighton scoring 24 points and grabbing seven rebounds. He should be a mismatch again in this game and is going to need him to have a big game. The Blueays are averaging 20.6 three-pointers attempted per game.
