Troy at Florida State – 11/14/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Troy Trojans and Florida State Seminoles face off on Monday in a college basketball showdown at the Donald. L Tucker Center. When these two teams faced off in 2018 it was Florida State that secured the 83-67 victory.

Troy has played two lower-level opponents to start the season, but they have looked good. In Game 1 against Montevallo, Troy was able to secure an 87-67 victory. In the last game against MUW, the offense scored 96 points, and it was another easy victory. Guard Nelson Phillips had a big game finishing with 20 points and nine rebounds in 23 minutes. Christyon Eugene also finished with 12 points, three assists, and one rebound. This obviously is a much bigger test, but they need to continue the offensive success. If the offense struggles, it’s going to be a very long game for the Trojans.

On the other side of this matchup is Florida State and they have had a shockingly bad start to the season. In Game 1 they lost to Stetson 83-74, and in the last game against Central Florida, they were defeated 68-54. At halftime against the Knights they were down 39-29, and couldn’t bounce back. Florida State was led by Darin Green Jr who finished with 17 points. Jalen Warley played 27 minutes but only scored three points and that is something that will need to be be better here.
