With the reshuffle of the Nationals line up after the departure of Juan Soto and Josh Bell, Victor Robles has slotted himself as the everyday leadoff hitter for the Nationals for the rest of the season.
This is more of a risky call with Noah Syndergaard making his Phillies debut tonight, but Robles posts solid splits against him. He's 4-12 with three of those hits being home runs. July was Robles' best month so far this season hitting .246 with three of his four total home runs.
The Nationals haven't been as bad as people thought as of late going 5-4 in their last nine games. Robles still has much to prove if he wants a prominent spot on the Nationals in the future or any MLB roster making his performance the rest of this season very important.< /p>
