Zhuric Phelps led the Mustangs with 28 points, five rebounds, and three assists in the game.
The Dayton Flyers are 1-0 this season after they defeated the Lindenwood Lions by a score of 73-46 in their first game of the season. Dayton played great defense in this game and allowed 21 points in the first half and 25 points in the second half. Dayton shot 47.1% from the field, 26.3% from three-point range, and 66.7% on free throws in the game. Dayton won the rebounding battle by a total of 42-32, recorded 19 assists, and forced 11 turnovers in the win. Daron Holmes II led the Flyers with 13 points, five rebounds, and three assists in the game.
