The Northwestern Wildcats and Minnesota Golden Gophers face off on Saturday in a Big Ten college football showdown at Huntington Bank Stadium. The visiting team has won the last three games played between Minnesota and Northwestern.

In the last game against Nebraska, Minnesota scored 20 points in the second half, and that was enough to secure the 10-point victory. Starting quarterback Tanner Morgan was hurt at the end of the first half and it’s unclear if he will be able to play in this game. Athan Kaliakamins completed 6 of his 12 passes for 137 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Minnesota is averaging 30.6 points while their defense is giving up 14.2 points per game. The defense is the strength and is ranked 4th in all of college football.
