The Miami Hurricanes and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets face off on Saturday in a college football showdown at Bobby Dodd Stadium. When these two teams faced off in 2021 it was Miami that secured the 33-30 victory.
It has been an awful season for the Miami Hurricanes who sit with a 4-5 record and they have gone 1-8 against the spread. In the last game against Florida State the offense could only manage a field goal while the defense gave up 45 points. The top passer for the Hurricanes was Jacurri Brown but he only had 37 yards. In this game, the Hurricanes need to find a way to get the offense going, or this is going to be a long game.
On the other side of this matchup is the Yellow Jackets who sit with a 4-5 record and they have gone 4-5 against the spread. In the last game against Virginia Tech, it was a close game, but Georgia Tech was able to secure the 28-27 victory. Zach Pyron completed 19 of his 32 passes for 253 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Dontae Smith finished with nine carries for 85 yards and a touchdown. The Yellow Jackets are averaging 17.4 points while their defense is giving up 28 points per game.
