Star pass-catcher Jauan Jennings and the San Francisco 49ers play the New England Patriots on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET, at Levi’s Stadium.

In their last outing, the 49ers were defeated by the Los Angeles Rams 27-24. Against the Rams, Brock Purdy led the Niners with 292 yards on 22-of-30 passing (73.3%) for three touchdowns and no interceptions. He also carried the ball 10 times for 41 yards. Jordan Mason totaled 77 rushing yards on 19 carries (4.1 yards per carry). He also had two catches for 11 yards. Jennings had 175 yards on 11 catches (15.9 per reception) with three touchdowns in that game.

The Patriots’ last game was a 24-3 loss to the New York Jets. Jacoby Brissett went 12-for-18 with 98 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions for the Pats against the Jets. In that matchup, Antonio Gibson had a five-carry, 29-yard game (5.8 yards per attempt). He also added three receptions for eight yards. Demario Douglas caught seven passes for 69 yards (9.9 yards per catch).
