3 Best Super Bowl 57 Defensive Props for Chiefs vs Eagles

Super Bowl LVII is just over 24 hours away, pitting the high-flying Philadelphia Eagles against the always-challenging Kansas City Chiefs. The Eagles continue sitting as the 1.5-point favorite on FanDuel Sportsbook, however, that is far from the only betting option this weekend.

While b oth teams are known for their powerful offenses, they also possess key defenders who can make a difference at any given moment. Keeping that in mind, here's a look at the three best defensive props at Super Bowl 57.

Eagles vs Chiefs Defensive Prop Bets

1. Hasson Reddick to Record a Sack (-154)

Hasson Reddick's disruptive play was a huge reason why the Eagles led the NFL with 70 regular-season sacks. The 28-year-old – who finished fourth in Defensive Player of the Year voting – led all Eagles with 16 sacks on the year, accounting for 22. 9% of his team's total. Although the Chiefs' offensive line is tremendous, Patrick Mahomes has still been sacked 12 times in the last eight games – including three times by the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship Game. With the Eagles' pass rush being much more dangerous than the Bengals' unit, I see Reddick getting at Mahomes at least once on Sunday.

2. Justin Reid – Tackles + Assists: Over 5.5 (-108)

Veteran safety Justin Reid has been productive for the Chiefs in both the regular season and postseason, amassing 96 total tackles across 19 total games thus far. Keeping that in mind, I'm expecting another big night from the former Stanford product. For start ers, Reid has hit the over on this prop in each of his last three games, as well as in five of the last six. The Eagles also run the fifth-most offensive plays per game in the NFL, which will give Reid plenty of opportunities to rack up his tackle count. In what'll likely be a shootout, look for the former 2018 third-rounder to make his presence felt.

3. No Interception Recorded (+260)

Although the Chiefs and Eagles both boast game-changing defenders, I'm predicting that there won't be any interceptions thrown at Super Bowl LVII. Both quarterbacks have been fairly turnover-free lately. On one hand, Mahomes only has one interception in his last five games and has gone three straight outings without throwing one. Meanwhile, Hurts has thrown only four picks in his last 13 games, finishing 10 of those contests without a single INT. With defenders being tired of all the points that'll likely be scored, I won't be shocked if there isn't a single interception at the Super Bowl.
