3 Best Prop Bets for Nuggets vs Trail Blazers NBA Game on FanDuel Sportsbook (Oct. 24)

Monday, Oct. 24's slate of 2022-23 NBA games includes a Western Conference showdown between the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers. FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NBA odds list the Nuggets as 5-point road favorites in a game where the project total is set at 228 points.

Here are three of the'best prop bets'for the Nuggets-Trail Blazers game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook's'NBA odds.

Nuggets vs Trail Blazers Player Props

1. Nikola Jokic – Rebounds: Over 11.5 (-122)

It's easy to imagine Nikola Jokic salivating any time he gets to face the Trail Blazers – especially from a rebounding perspective. The dominant Serbian has averaged an impressive 10.9 rebounds over his last nine games against Portland, which includes an 18-board performance in his last meeting back in Februa ry. So far this season, the Trail Blazers give up 15.8 rebounds per game to opposing centers. With Jokic averaging nearly 36 minutes and 10.7 REB per game this season coupled with Portland not having the best big man depth, I can see the two-time NBA MVP hitting the over on this prop.

2. Damian Lillard – Threes Made: Over 3.5 (-104)

Like in past, Damian Lillard has been lethal from three-point range to begin the new season. The six-time All-NBA guard has averaged four threes made thus far, which includes going 11-of-25 (44%) from beyond the arc in his last two outings. Lillard's riding a two-game streaking of hitting five-plus shots from beyond the arc and that could continue against the Nuggets. Denver is giving up the most threes per game (15.3) while allowing opponents to convert on 38.3% of their attempts (T-No. 8). Throw in the fact that the game's projected total sits at 227, Lillard should see more than enough volume to hit the over on this prop bet tonight.

3. Anfernee Simons – Points: Under 18.5 (-118)

The Trail Blazers hoped for bigger things from Anfernee Simons this season, but he hasn't taken the jump just yet. In fact, he's had some major shooting struggles, going 10-of-34 (29.4%) from the field over his last two games. Even though the Nuggets' defense hasn't been unbeatable, it's worth noting that Simons has never scored more than 16 points in 11 career meetings against Denver. Furthermore, the Nuggets are giving up the fourth-fewest points per game (21.6) to point guards this season. Until Simons shows more improvement and consistency, it's safer to stick with the under as far as point-scoring props go.
