The 2022-23 NBA season is in full swing with another four matchups set for action on Thursday. One of those battles features the'Dallas Mavericks (1-2) and Brooklyn Nets (1-3)'in an inter-conference showdown.

1. Luka Doncic – Points: Over 31.5 (-112)
It's hard to imagine that this is only Luka Doncic's fifth year in the NBA with how dominant he's been. The 23-year-old Slovenian is already averaging 34.7 points on a career-high 60.4% true shooting percentage through three games. Fortunately for Doncic, the Nets are giving up the sixth-most points per game while also owning a bottom-10 shooting defense. Furthermore, he av eraged 29.4 PPG in his last five games against the Nets, including a 37-piece in his most recent outing. With defense being one of Brooklyn's biggest struggles this season, don't be surprised if Doncic has another big game, hitting the over on this prop.
2. Ben Simmons – Assists: Over 7.5 (+114)
Even though Ben Simmons has struggled to shoot the bell this season, he's still been a solid playmaker for the Nets. The former LSU product is averaging 7.5 assists after four games, finishing with eight or more helpers in his last three outings. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant will be doing everything in their power to match Doncic blow-for-blow, meaning Simmons should see plenty of opportunities t o set up plays for the duo. Simmons has also recorded at least eight assists in five of his eight all-time meetings against the Mavericks, even finishing with seven on two occasions. The under might be favored on this prop, but he's clearly proven that finishing with eight-plus assists is more than a realistic goal.
3. Spencer Dinwiddie – Threes Made: Over 2.5 (+114)
Spencer Dinwiddie has turned into quite the sharpshooter this season. It's a small sample size, but he's averaging a career-high 3.3 threes made on 6.0 attempts this season, capitalizing on 55.6% of attempts. Is that sustainable? Probably not, but Dinwiddie's impressive shooting run doesn't have to stop tonight. After all, the Nets have been bad on the perimeter, allowing an average of 12.3 threes made (12th-most) on a 39.5% conversion rate (fifth-worst). Throw in the fact that he's had at least a trio of threes in each game thus far, I'd be shocked if Dinwiddie didn't finish with three-plus three-pointers made tonight.
