Sunday's NHL Playoffs slate includes an exciting Game 3 showdown between the Carolina Hurricanes and New Jersey Devils. The Hurricanes have jumped out to a 2-0 series lead after winning Game 1 by a score of 5-1 and Game 2 by a score of 6-1. The Devils have looked outmatched so far in the series.

As mentioned above, this is do-or-die time for New Jersey and creating scoring opportunities will be crucial. Look for Meier to pepper the net from start to finish on Sunday.
2. Jordan Martinook – Points: Over 0.5 (+160)
Talk about a surprising emergence. After failing to tally a single point in a first-round series win over the Islanders, Jordan Martinook has come alive with 2 points in each of the first two games of this series. He has tallied 3 assists and scored a goal as well, which was bound to come considering he has now launched 23 shots at the net during the postseason. This prop bet is all ab out the odds here as bettors can secure a big profit if Martinook can just keep doing what he has been doing on Sunday. Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour has every reason to lean on the Canadian pro.
3. Frederik Anderson – To Record 27+ Saves (-136)
The Devils have no choice but to attempt to tighten up on the defensive side of the ice and increase the intensity on the offensive end of the ice. That bodes well for Carolina goaltender Frederik Anderson's chances of putting together a huge outing. After all, he logged 28 saves in Game 2 despite the fact that the Hurricanes controlled the game with ease. If Game 4 is close, Anderson is going to be counted on to come through. H e has tallied at least 27 saves in seven of his last 12 games overall dating back to the regular season.
