3 Best Prop Bets for Bulls vs Nets on Nov. 1 (Durant Gearing Up for Another Big Offensive Effort)

The 2022-23 NBA season is in full swing with another four matchups set for action on Tuesday, Nov. 1. One of those battles features the'Brooklyn Nets (2-5) hosting the Chicago Bulls (3-4) in an Eastern Conference showdown.'

Here are three of the'best prop bets'for this Bulls-Nets game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook's'NBA odds.

Bulls vs Nets Player Props

1. Kevin Durant – Points: Over 30.5 (-125)

A lack of depth has forced Kevin Durant to take on the brunt of the Nets' offensive responsibilities. The four-time scoring champion is currently averaging a career-high 32.6 points this season, having hit the over on this prop five times this season – including in four of his last five outings. Time will tell if that pace is sustainable, however, Durant certainly has a good chance of continuing his scoring success against the Bulls. Chicago has given up 117.3 PPG over its last three outings, ranking ninth-worst in the NBA over that stretch. Furthermore, Durant averaged exactly 31 points in his last three games against the Bulls, which includes a 38-point effort. With the Nets potentially being without Seth Curry and Ben Simmons on Tuesday, I'm taking K.D. to hit the over on this prop.

2. Zach LaVine – Threes Made: Over 2.5 (-111)

Though he's dealt with injuries, Zach LaVine was cleared Tuesday morning to face the Nets. Chicago needs him to succeed from range as he paces his teammates in threes made (3.3) and attempted (7.0) this season. The good news for LaVine is that the Nets' perimeter defense has been dreadful this season. Brooklyn has been allowing the second-most threes made (14.7) while also ranking fourth-worst in three-point percentage allowed at 41.4%. As long as LaVine sees his usual number of looks from beyond the arc, hitting at least three shouldn't be too much of an issue.

3. Nic Claxton – Points + Rebounds: Over 21.5 (-113)

Nic Claxton has blossomed in his first season as a full-time starter. The former Georgia product is averaging career-highs in both points (12.1) and rebounds (8.6) per game this season. As far as the total goes, Claxton has combined for at least 22 points and rebounds in four of his seven games thus far, wh ich includes a combo of 28 against the Indiana Pacers on Monday. With the Bulls ruling Andre Drummond and his 10.2 RPG out for the game, life will be that much easier for Claxton. Expect the 23-year-old to continue his upward trajectory by hitting the over on this prop tonight.
