Entering the 2023 season, the Miami Dolphins offense had finished in the top 10 of points scored just once since 1996, ranking eighth in 2001 with a unit that was just 21st in yards gained. The team showed shades of having elite potential in Mike McDaniel's first season, and with Tua Tagovailoa playing all 17 games in 2023 following a year rife with concussion issues, the Dolphins offense reached its ceiling, finishing second in points scored and gaining 6.5 yards per play while finishing secon d in net yards per attempt and first in yards per rush.
