The LIV Golf season begins for the second straight season down in Mexico, at the El Camaleon Golf Course in Mayakoba. With new signees including the World No. 3 Jon Rahm and fellow Europeans Tyrrell Hatton and Adrian Meronk, the star power and depth continues to expand on the circuit. Last year, Charles Howell III won his first and only LIV tournament at Mayakoba by shooting 16 under par in the 54 hole tournament, defeating Peter Uihlein by four shots. The par-71 layout plays at around 7,100 yards a nd features mangrove wetlands while sitting along the Mexican Caribbean Sea coastline. The players will be competing for a $25 million purse, with $20 million allocated to the individual competition and $5 million for the team competition.'
