WGC – Match Play Prediction

Tyrell Hatton'is in great form off a T-6 at the Phoenix Open, T-4 in the Arnold Palmer Invitational and runner-up at the Players Championship — another Pete Dye-designed course. The 31-year-old Englishman also tops the WGC field over his last 50 rounds in Strokes Gained: Putting, Total and top-5 in Short Game and Approach stats.

Much is dependent on the draw in the WGC, and Hatton has a good group to get through. Plus, he's won five matches on this course in the WGC event since 2016. A potential Round 2 match awaits with Rory McIlroy, and if Hatton can't get through, then Matt Fitzpatrick at longer odds is another golfer to pick coming out of the same bracket with a potential quarterfinal match-up with Hatton.

Pick: Tyrrell Hatton (+2200) or Matt Fitzpatrick (+3400) to win or finish top-4 (+650, +750)
