2023 NFL Mock Draft – Picks, Prop Bets for Every 1st-Round Selectioniv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

The 2023 NFL Draft is here and we're providing you with picks and betting recommendations for each first-round selection. Read on for our final NFL mock draft, which we'll be updating throughout the week, based on current NFL odds from our best NFL betting sites.

It's draft week, and here at Sportsbook Review, we've done the work for you, sifting through the NFL draft odds and the many props available at the best sports betting sites to find value and even look at which U.S. states offer legal sports betting on the NFL draft.

Here, we strive to marry the projected picks with the best prop currently available.

Here are our 2023 NFL Mock Draft picks and prop bet suggestions, based on the NFL draft odds and prop markets from the best sports betting sites.

2023 NFL Mock Dr aft predictions

The odds have completely shifted since our last mock draft. Now, Alabama quarterback Bryce Young is the consensus betting favorite to be the first overall pick of Thursday's draft. Young was available at +220 to go No. 1 overall in early April and those odds dropped to -220 last week. The odds sat at -2000 on Monday before rising back to -900.

Bet: Total Quarterbacks Drafted in Round 1 – Over 4.5 (-182 via BetRivers)

DraftKings FanDuel Caesars bet365 BetRivers
-200 -188 -215 ?? -210 -182 ??

Draft specials are currently the only opportunities to mine value from Young going with the first pick. We've yet to find a book posting exactas for the first two picks, so in the interim, we'll bet on the Over on 4.5 QBs going on Night 1.

The draft starts at the No. 2 pick and the selection is shrouded in secrecy.

Would the Texans really pass on a quarterback for a defensive player? Would they really trade the opportunity to draft a franchise quarterback to the Indianapolis Colts, their division rivals? I can't imagine they would, but the odds still point to Will Levis going second overall.

Bet: Numbe r 2 Draft Pick – Will Levis (+210 via PointsBet)

DraftKings FanDuel BetMGM Caesars PointsBet
+125 ?? +175 +175 +130 +210 ??

Those looking for more value on a Levis prop should look to the “team to draft player” market. Levis to the Colts is +175 at DraftKings and Levis to the Tennessee Titans is +850.

If the draft starts at the second pick, the fun begins at No. 3. The Arizona Cardinals could offer the pick to the highest bidder in the quarterback market. And with Ohio State's C.J. Stroud and Florida's Anthony Richardson still on the board, that's the expected outcome. We have the Cardinals trading out of this pick with the Colts.

Bet: Third Pick – C.J. Stroud (+350 via FanDuel, BetMGM, PointsBet)

DraftKings FanDuel BetMGM Caesars PointsBet
+275 ?? +350 +350 +300 +350

The recent steam on Levis has resulted in Stroud dropping down the oddsboard. He's currently the favorite to be the third pick at DraftKings.

The Cardinals trade down one spot, net additional draft picks, and still come away with the first pick of the non-quarterbacks. Alabama's Will Anderson Jr. had been the favorite to be the first defensive player off the board throughout the pre-draft process, but with strong reviews on his injured foot, Texas Tech's Tyree Wilson is now atop the oddsboard in that market.

Bet: First Defensive Player Selected – Tyree Wilson (-121 via BetRivers)

DraftKings FanDuel BetMGM Caesars BetRivers
-150 -140 -135 -160 ?? -121 ??

More adventurous bettors can try matching pick to team and betting Wilson to the Cardinals. Our recommendation is to swallow the minimal juice and bet on the 6-foot-6 pass-rusher to be the first defensive player selected.

Analysts from ESPN's Todd McShay to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio report there is growing belief the Seattle Seahawks will target Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson if he's still available at No. 5 overall.

Bet: Team to Draft Anthony Richardson – Seahawks (+250 via DraftKings)

The Seahawks re-signed Comeback Player of the Year Geno Smith to a three-year contract, but it carries a potential out after one season. Seattle sorely needs edge help, but it won't pass up an opportunity to resolve the future at QB.

Look at the Detroit Lions' good fortune. They sit pretty at pick No. 6 and land a player who was considered an option at No. 1 not too long ago. Matching Anderson with 2022 first-round pick Aidan Hutchinson is a good step toward the Lions ending their six-year playoff drought.

Bet: First Drafted Position – Defensive Line (+125 via Caesars, bet365)

DraftKings Caesars bet365
+100 ?? +125 +125

With Anderson, Jalen Carter, and Wilson potentially available at No. 6, we recommend betting the Lions to use their first pick on a defensive lineman at plus money.

McShay reports that the belief around the NFL is that the Las Vegas Raiders will target a cornerback after failing to move up to No. 1 for their choice of quarterback.

Christian Gonzalez of Oregon had been the betting favorite for multiple months, but Illinois' Devon Witherspoon has since replaced him and carries -250 odds to be the first corner taken.

Bet: Raiders' First Drafted Player – Cornerback (+180 via bet365)

DraftKings Caesars bet365
+115 ?? +150 +180 ??

Rather than take those heavy odds, take the Raiders to take a cornerback with their first pick at +180. That prevents bettors from having to pick between Witherspoon and Gonzalez.

Troubled defensive tackle Jalen Carter is expected to be a top-10 pick, to the point that his agent refused visits with any team picking outside of the top 10.

Playing in the same state as the Georgia Bulldogs, there's perhaps no other team that could have done as much research on Carter as the Atlanta Falcons.

Bet: No. 8 Draft Pick – Jalen Carter (+1000 via FanDuel, Caesars)

DraftKings FanDuel Caesars
+800 ?? +1000 +1000

The Over/Under on Carter's draft position is 6.5 with the odds juiced to the Over. Caesars has the O/U at 7.5 with -115 odds on the Over. The exact player to exact pick is +1000 at Caesars.

The Bears declared Justin Fields as their quarterback of the future when they traded out of the No. 1 pick, and they got the wide receiver help they sorely needed when they received D.J. Moore in the package.

Now, Chicago can use the No. 9 pick to address an offensive line that gave up 58 sacks in 2022, the fourth-most in the league. Northwestern's Peter Skoronski was initially the favorite to be the first offensive lineman drafted, but Ohio State's Paris Johnson Jr. now occupies that position at -225 odds at Caesars.

Bet: First Player Drafted by Bears – Paris Johnson Jr. (+350 via PointsBet)

Johnson was available at +160 to be the first O-lineman drafted during our Mock Draft 2.0. With those odds gone, head to PointsBet, which has the Bears to take Johnson with their first pick at +350.

They say teams shouldn't take a running back in the first round, but the Philadelphia Eagles have two first-round picks and no glaring needs. And Bijan Robinson is no ordinary running back.

A top-10 talent, Robinson owns the requisite skill set to break the mold. And rivals are fearing the prospect of him landing in the hands of the NFC champions.

Bet: Which Team Will Draft Bijan Robinson? – Eagles (+800 via bet365)

DraftKings FanDuel bet365
+300 ?? +750 +800 ??

The Eagles own the third shortest odds to be the team to select Robinson. The Falcons are the favorites, but we can't envision a team with that many needs using a premium pick on a running back. The Texans are at +500 and they're in a similar position to the Falcons.

Check out our 2023 NFL Draft odds

We remain steadfast in our belief that, if the Titans don't trade up, they're in prime position to land one of the top two offensive linemen in this draft. In this scenario, they get Skoronski as the successor to former staple left tackle Taylor Lewan.

Bet: Peter Skoronski Draft Position – Over 10.5 (+130 via FanDuel)

FanDuel Caesars bet365
+130 +125 ?? +135 ??

Titans to take an offensive lineman is at -115. Instead, bank on Skoronski being the second O-lineman selected and getting past the Eagles at 10.

Ohio State's Jaxon Smith-Njigba has cornered the market to be the first wide receiver drafted. At -300 at most of our best sportsbooks, there's little doubt he'll be the first wideout off the board. The question is: where will he land?

Picking the right team is much more difficult, but the Texans own two top-12 picks and have a need at wideout after trading away veteran Brandin Cooks.

Bet: Jaxon Smith-Njigba 1st WR Drafted, Tyree Wilson 1st D Drafted, & Paris Johnson Jr. 1st OL Drafted (+230 via FanDuel)

This FanDuel draft combo allows bettors to get plus odds on the established favorites to go first at their respectiv e positions.

The Packers are finally Jordan Love's team. But the cupboard is bare when it comes to pass-catching weapons. The receiving group is led by 2022 draft picks Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Samori Toure.

Notre Dame's Michael Mayer was available at +120 to be the first tight end drafted in our Mock Draft 2.0, but with recent steam, he's now become the betting favorite in that market.

Bet: Position of Packers' First Drafted Player – Tight End (+400 via FanDuel)

DraftKings FanDuel Caesars bet365
+250 ?? +400 +400 +300

The value may be gone on Mayer's draft odds, but those who'd rather not make a call between him and Utah's Dalton Kincaid can feel more comfortable betting on the Packers to take either of them with their first-round pick at +400 odds.

The team-to-draft-player prop is +500 for the Packers to select Mayer at FanDuel.

The Patriots have spent much of the offseason retooling an offense that ranked 26th in 2022. They've hired Bill O'Brien as offensive coordinator and signed wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster and tight end Mike Gesicki in free agency.

Now they can turn their attention to the defense. The Iowa-to-New England pipeline continues with one of the most athletic pass-rushers in the draft.

Bet: Lukas Van Ness Draft Position – Over 12.5 (-200 via Caesars)

Caesars bet365
-200 ?? -250 ??

There are few sportsbooks offering this prop on Van Ness' draft position. We don't love the odds, but it's more palatable than trying to forecast what player or position the Patriots will choose. This is a team that surprised by taking guard Cole Strange with their first-round pick last year.

The priorities for the New York Jets have changed now that they've landed quarterback Aaron Rodgers. They've shifted from plucky contenders to a team with a short, win-now window.

The Jets will need an immediate impact player, especially since they included their second-round pick in the Rodgers deal. Offensive line is the position that requires the most attention.

Bet: Broderick Jones' Draft Position – Over 14.5 (-175 via DraftKings)

DraftKings FanDuel bet365
-175 ?? -188 ?? -180

The odds for the Jets to select an offensive lineman are at -300 at FanDuel. Instead, pivot to Broderick Jones' draft position prop.

The Washington Commanders are projected to take a cornerback with their first-round pick.

Though they ranked fourth in pass defense last season, the Commanders should keep adding to a position of strength.

Bet: Position of Commanders' First Drafted Player – Cornerback (+110 via bet365)

DraftKings FanDuel bet365
-125 ?? +100 +110 ??

Shop around for the best number. DraftKings is hanging -125 odds while bet365 is offering the best number at +110.

A Penn State alum and son of a former Pittsburgh Steelers great? Some scripts write themselves.

Nittany Lions cornerback Joey Porter Jr. is projected to go in this range and Steelers general manager Omar Khan has an eye on the corner market.

Bet: Joey Porter Jr. Draft Position – Under 19.5 (+125 via Caesars)

DraftKings FanDuel Caesars
+115 ?? +120 +125 ??

Unfortunately, none of our top books are posting a player-to-team prop for Porter. The odds on the Steelers to draft a corner prop vary from -125 to +100. So our play is the Under on Porter's draft position.

Having selected one of the top defensive prospects with their early draft pick, the Lions can focus on offense with their second selection.

Florida's O'Cyrus Torrence is regarded as the top interior offensive lineman and at 6-foot-5, 330 pounds, it's easy to see why.

Bet: First Round Pick (-160 via FanDuel)

DraftKings FanDuel
-175 ?? -160 ??

We're banking on Torrence being selected in the top 31 and there's 15 cents difference in the price between FanDuel and DraftKings.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers begin a new era without Tom Brady. They also cut ties with one of their longest tenured players when they released left tackle Donovan Smith.

The Bucs will need to find a replacement on new quarterback Baker Mayfield's blindside.

Tennessee's Darnell Wright could be an ideal fit. The 6-foot-5, 333-pounder has spent time on both the left and right side of the line, which would allow the Bucs to move second-team All-Pro right tackle Tristan Wirfs to the left side if they choose.

Bet: Position of Buccaneers' First Drafted Player – Offensive Lineman (+175 via FanDuel)

DraftKings FanDuel BetMGM bet365
+150 +175 ?? -115 ?? +170

O-line is the favorite to be the position group targeted by the Bucs in the first round.

If the Seahawks use their No. 5 pick on an offensive player, they'll need to address their void at pass rush with the No. 20 selection.

After their playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers, head coach Pete Carroll vowed that the Seahawks need to get more dynamic on their defensive front. Myles Murphy and his 17.5 career sacks in three seasons at Clemson would help.

Bet: Myles Murphy's Draft Position – Over 18.5 (-136 via BetRivers)

DraftKings Caesars bet365 BetRivers
-180  -170  -180 -136 ??

The price difference is significant here as well, and BetRivers is offering the best number.

Check out our Super Bowl Odds 2024

Most books have wideout as the position of choice for the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night. They need to continue to add weapons as they chase the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. They also are lacking depth behind the oft-injured receiving duo of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams.

Bet: Zay Flowers' Draft Position – Under 22.5 (+150 via Caesars)

DraftKings FanDuel Caesars bet365
+135 ?? +148 +150 ?? +140

Zay Flowers out of Boston College is the betting favorite to be the second wideout off the board, at +135 odds at bet365. His draft position offers even more value, if he goes Under 22.5.

Now that star wideout Odell Beckham Jr. is in the fold, the Baltimore Ravens can turn their attention to other areas of need.

The Ravens finished 26th in pass defense last year and cut ties with veterans Marcus Peters and Kyle Fuller in the offseason. They're looking to get younger at corner.

Bet: Position of Ravens' First Drafted Player – Cornerback (+115 via Caesars)

DraftKings FanDuel Caesars bet365
-120 ?? +100 +115 ?? -110

The importance of price shopping is underscored here, as this prop is available at -120 at DraftKings, but at plus money at Caesars.

Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker is one of the top risers in the days leading up to the draft. Though he's coming off a torn ACL, many analysts are projecting him to go in the first round.

McShay reports he's hearing Hooker will be selected in the top 20. The Minnesota Vikings are the current betting favorites to take him, and it's easy to see why. Longtime quarterback Kirk Cousins is going into a contract year.

Bet: Which Team Will Draft Hendon Hooker? – Vikings (+500 via FanDuel)

DraftKings FanDuel bet365
+350 ?? +500 ?? +400

The Vikings are the favorites to select Hooker at all of our best sports betting sites.

The Jaguars have compiled an impressive roster of playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. It's the defense that needs work, particularly a pass defense that ranked 28th in the NFL last season.

The team parted ways with Shaquill Griffin and is likely to seek his replacement through the draft. We recommend making a bet on the Jaguars to use their first-round pick on a corner.

Bet: Position of Jaguars' First Drafted Player – Cornerback (+175 via FanDuel, bet365)

DraftKings FanDuel Caesars bet365
+120 ?? +175 +160 +175

Again, simply shopping around can result in a bigger payout on the same prop. The best odds are at FanDuel.

There are few teams more desperate for a difference-maker at receiver than the Giants. They made the playoffs last season with a collection of unheralded wideouts and released Kenny Golladay after the season.

The only addition thus far has been former second-round pick Parris Campbell who's coming off a career-high 623 receiving yards. Trading for tight end Darren Waller certainly helps, but quarterback Daniel Jones needs more downfield options.

Bet: Position of Giants' First Drafted Player (+175 via bet365)

DraftKings FanDuel Caesars bet365
+150 +150 +130 ?? +175 ??

A Johnston-to-Giants prop is available at +1000 at DraftKings and FanDuel. There are only a handful of receiver-needy teams

The Dallas Cowboys lost tight end Dalton Schultz to free agency. Gone are the 1,385 yards, 193 targets, and 13 touchdowns he collected over the last two seasons.

Kincaid would be an affordable replacement, and one who recently received a clean bill of health after a concerning back injury.

Bet: Second Tight End Selected – Kincaid (-105 via DraftKings)

DraftKings bet365
-105 ?? -120 ??

Kincaid and Mayer flip flopped as the favorite to be the first tight end drafted, but recent steam has pushed Mayer back to the top of the oddsboard.

We got some answers from Buffalo with the team's moves in free agency. The Bills brought back safety Jordan Poyer, linebacker Matt Milano, and corner Dane Jackson, while also releasing wideout Isaiah McKenzie.

We can confidently assume that the team will address its need for a secondary receiving option by looking to the draft. Take the Bills to select a receiver with their first-round pick.

Bet: Bills' First Drafted Position – Wide Receiver (+390 via FanDuel)

DraftKings FanDuel Caesars bet365
+200 ?? +390 ?? +300 +375

Wideout is the betting favorite at DraftKings, but more value is available by shopping around.

Cincinnati made a splash in free agency, landing left tackle Orlando Brown to cement its offensive line. But the team lost tight end Hayden Hurst to Carolina.

If Mayer and Kincaid are off the board, Georgia's Darnell Washington is no consolation prize at the back end of the draft.

Bet: Total Tight Ends Drafted in 1st Round – Over 2.5 (+230 via Caesars)

DraftKings FanDuel Caesars bet365
-300 ?? +198 +230 ?? +200

Many draft analysts have hailed this tight end class as perhaps the best in draft history. With Mayer, Kincaid, and Washington, we're taking the Over on tight ends going in the first round.

The New Orleans Saints are now the favorites to win the NFC South after adding quarterback Derek Carr and running back Jamaal Williams in free agency. However, they've yet to address an aging defensive line.

Thirty-three-year-old Cameron Jordan missed the Pro Bowl for the first time in five years and he could use some help getting to the quarterback.

Bet: Saints' First Drafted Position – Defensive Line (+120 via Caesars)

DraftKings FanDuel Caesars bet365
+100 -105 ?? +120 ?? +100

Pitt defensive tackle Calijah Kancey carries -340 odds to be a top-31 pick, so we're instead pivoting to the position market.

The Eagles lost defensive tackle Javon Hargrave in free agency and though they brought back stalwart D-linemen Brandon Graham and Fletcher Cox, they're 35 and 32 years old, respectively.

With two first-round picks, Philly can afford to spend a pick on rebuilding the aging D-line.

Bet: Total SEC Players Drafted in the 1st Round – Over 11.5 (+170 via DraftKings)

Our mock has 14 players from the SEC going on Night 1. Caesars is offering this same prop but with the O/U set at 10.5 and the Over at -200.

Check out our 2023 NFL MVP odds

The Chiefs watched Orlando Brown leave for their conference rival and pivoted to Jawaan Taylor as their new left tackle.

But as the team found out during the postseason, protecting quarterba ck Patrick Mahomes is of the utmost importance. Ohio State's Dawand Jones could be the long-term answer at tackle for Kansas City.

Bet: Chiefs' First Drafted Position – Offensive Line (+200 via DraftKings)

DraftKings FanDuel Caesars bet365
+200 ?? +175 ?? +190 +180

The Super Bowl champs can take the best available player with the last pick of the first round. With Taylor and Lucas Niang currently penciled in as the starting tackles, we're confident the Chiefs will look to tackle.
