Bryce Young heavily favored to go first overall on April 27

When the Carolina Panthers traded up to get the No. 1 pick on March 10, there were no longer any questions as to which position would get called first. However, the decision between Bryce Young and CJ Stroud has lingered deep into the month of April.

Young is a huge favorite to be Frank Reich’s brand-new signal caller in Charlotte and maybe there won’t be any drama heading into draft day. We’ve seen plenty of drama over the last few months, as both Young and Stroud have been heavy favorites to be the choice, but it is the Alabama QB who clearly paces the field as the draft approaches.

Odds to be the No. 1 Pick (DraftKings)

  • Bryce Young -360
  • CJ Stroud +225
  • Anthony Richardson +2000
  • Will Levis +6000

Richardson and Levis get charity mentions here, as Young and Stroud have been the consensus top-two picks for quite some time. Both have been favored, but recent betting action has really favored Young and our own Michael Lombardi believes that Young should absolutely be the No. 1 pick.
