The New York Giants posted a 9-7-1 record last season, securing 1 of 3 Wild Card berths in the NFC. New York ousted the NFC North Division champion Minnesota Vikings before bowing out to the rival Philadelphia Eagles in the divisional round.
For the first time in a while, expectations are sky-high for the G-Men. The Giants took care of a huge order of business, extending QB Daniel Jones, while slapping the franchise tag on RB Saquon Barkley.
In addition, the team went out and grabbed some weapons for Danny Dimes in the form of free agents WR Parris Campbell, WR Jamison Crowder and TE Darren Waller. WR Jalin Hyatt was nabbed in the 3rd round of the 2023 NFL Draft, too. The team retained WRs Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton, making the QB happy.
The team added to the defense, too, picking up LBs Jarrad Davis and Bobby Okereke, while adding S Bobby McCain for depth, too. CB Deonte Banks was added in the 1st round of the draft, as well.
