The second weekend of the 2023 NCAA Tournament is set to kick off on Thursday night with the start of the Sweet 16. Only two No. 1 seeds remain, one of them being the tournament's overall No. 1 seed: the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Tide will take on No. 5 seed San Diego State in the Sweet 16.
The other remaining No. 1 seed — the Houston Cougars — is going up against the No. 5 Miami Hurricanes. Only two No. 2 seeds remain as well: the Texas Longhorns and UCLA Bruins.
