The fourth-seeded Indiana Hoosiers are eyeing their first Sweet Sixteen appearance in seven years when they battle the fifth-seeded Miami Hurricanes in an NCAA Tournament second-round matchup from Albany, New York, on Sunday. The Midwest Region game is just the second-ever meeting between the teams, and first since 2001. The Hurricanes (26-7, 15-5 ACC), who reached the Elite Eight a year ago, have won four of their past five NCAA Tournament games. The Hoosiers (23-11, 12-8 Big Ten), who were bounce d in the first round in 2022, last played for a national championship in 2002.
