For the first time in franchise history, the 2022-23 Denver Nuggets earned a trip to the NBA Finals after a trio of series victories. Denver opened the postseason by taking care of business against the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games before defeating Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns in a six-game series. Then, the Nuggets cleared the previously unprecedented hurdle of emerging victorious in the Western Conference Finals, dominating the Los Angeles Lakers in what became a four-game sweep.
