2023 MLB Trade Deadline Tracker & Rumors
The Major League Baseball Trade Deadline is Tuesday, August 1 and the hot stove is plenty hot. The obvious question is whether or not the Angels will trade Shohei Ohtani, but there are a lot of other really good players on the market and it would not be a surprise if some names that haven’t been talked about end up as part of deadline deals.
I will be doing a live blog for the Trade Deadline on July 31 and August 1, with Tuesday’s coverage in lieu of doing a best bets article. It is not only my form of protest because the Trade Deadline should not feature any games, but it is also hard to know how the teams and players feel with all of the emotions that surround the “business of baseball”.
The goal is to cover not only the deals and forecast the impacts that they will have, but also to report on some of the odds movement, especially with the splashier deals.
None would be splashier than an Ohtani trade.
